AHHHHH I WANT TO MAKE A QUILT

But I have no money to put into quilting supplies and the sewing machine keeps fucking up the thread and I don’t want to risk that whole “Oh I sewed a whole huge row! EXCEPT NOT REALLY BECAUSE IT UNTHREADED AND I COULDN’T SEE IT.”

But regardless, sewing and crocheting like fucking CRAZY, and also I need to finish Michael’s birthday present soon so I can call it done D:

Oh, and list stuff on Etsy! Like, pronto! I keep forgetting :P

But seriously, I’ve been meaning to make a quilt for basically forever- I have a bunch of bits and pieces to make said quilt out of and the sooner I do it, the better.

And did you know that Joann DOESN’T sell everything? Because I almost felt like they did, and then they didn’t have what I needed today.

WELL, WAL-MART’S GOT THE SHIT I NEED FOR CHEAPER ANYWAY, JOANN- even if you have better customer service, friendlier employees, and your company isn’t a disgusting, immoral conglomerate that destroys lives, I’m still poor and you don’t have pillows, jersey knit fabric, or leopard print lycra :(

But seriously! Any tips on quilting to someone who has never tried it before in her life and has no clue where to start?
